Description and references

Synthetic pulmonary surfactant protein consisting of 21 amino acid residues in a repeating sequence of one lysine and four leucines. Mimics surfactant protein-B (SP-B), a naturally occurring, hydrophobic protein found in human lung surfactant. Prepn: C. G. Cochrane, S. D.
