Properties

White, odorless leaflets. mp 152° with decompn. Flammable; explosive. Soly (g/100g) at 0°: water 9.30, alcohol 1.35; at 65.3°: water 39.84, alcohol 8.84. The aq soln is acid.

Use

As sensitizer for explosives; fertilizer; organic reagent.
