Off-white to buff colored solid. Crystals from benzene, mp 282-283°. Insol in water. Absorption max (CH2Cl2): 280, 312(sh) nm (log ε 4.63, 4.10). Absorption max (complex with Cu(I)): 479.0 nm (ε 14160).

Use

Reagent for colorimetric determn of copper. In organic semiconductor applications.
