Ammonium bisulfide soln; ammonium sulfhydrate soln; ammonium hydrosulfide soln. Description and references
Contains 8-9% NH3 and about the
same percentage of sulfur, corresponding to 16-20% as (NH4)2S.
Properties
When freshly made it is an almost colorless liquid,
but soon acquires a yellow color which intensifies with age, due to
formation of some polysulfide. Odor of NH3 and H2S; strong alkaline reaction. Keep tightly
closed.Status
