Liquid. bp0.3 74°; bp1 115-117°; bp2 92°. nD25 1.4932. Slightly sol in water (2%), sol in alcohol, hexane, xylene. LD50 orally in rats: 700 mg/kg (Bailey, White).

A strong irritant. Can be absorbed through skin.
