Properties
Crystals. Practically tasteless. mp 194°. One gram dissolves in 3000
ml cold water, in 210 ml boiling water. One part dissolves in 10
parts alc, 75 parts ether. Decolorizes KMnO4 solns.Therapeutic Category
Sedative, hypnotic.
