Properties
Short needles from ether + light petr, dec 179-180°.
Darkens and turns black within 2 hrs on exposure to sunlight. Sol
in the usual organic solvents except hexane; dissolves slowly in sodium
carbonate soln; practically insol in water and dil acids.Status
