Prepd from prednisolone and N,N-diethylaminoacetyl chloride hydrochloride: Pancrazio, Sbarigia, Farmaco Ed. Prat. 16, 190 (1961); from prednisolone and chloroacetyl chloride followed by reaction with diethylamine: GB 862370 (1961 to Pfizer).
