Crystals from ethanol, mp 133-135°. [α]D20 +61° (dioxane). uv max: 244-245 nm (E1%1cm 430-450). Practically insol in water. Sol in many organic solvents; sparingly sol in ethanol, hexane. Soly in sesame oil: 40-45 mg/ml.
