Crystals from ether, mp 174-178°. Soly in water: 125 ppm. Moderately sol in methylene chloride; less sol in acetone, acetonitrile. Low soly in hydrocarbon solvents. LD50 in male, female rats (mg/kg): 5545, 6293 orally (Levitt).
