Description and references

Synthetic analog of vasopressin, q.v., with antidiuretic activity and decreased pressor effects. Improves hemostasis by increasing plasma levels of von Willebrand factor, factor VIII and tissue plasminogen activator, q.q.v. Prepn: M.
