White powder, mp 41°. d25 1.48. Log P (octanol/water): 5.07. Vapor pressure at 25°: 8×10-4 mm Hg. Practically insol in water (0.004 g/100 ml at 25°). Freely sol in acetone, carbon tetrachloride, ether, methylene chloride, toluene, kerosene. LD50 in male, female rats (mg/kg): 1250, 2630 orally (Gaines).

Caution
