Properties
Colorless liquid; fumes in air. mp -9.5°. bp 106°. d18 2.75. Forms a white hygroscopic solid. Hydrolyzed
violently by water. Attacks glass slowly when perfectly dry. Completely
miscible with ether, ethanol, iodine pentafluoride, sulfuric acid;
sol in chloroform, carbon tetrachloride.Use
