Properties
Orthorhombic, tasteless plates from abs alcohol, mp 93°; dec 250°. Dipole
moment: 3.9. Freely sol in water, hot alcohol, acetone. Sparingly
sol in cold alc. Solid and solns are stable.Note
Not to be confused with ammonium sulfamate
or with sulfanilamide.Use
Similar to urea in many of its reactions, but is
more acidic, and can act as a dibasic acid.
