Assay
Acidify 100 g with 1m sulfuric acid using methyl orange solution as indicator, distil in steam and collect the distillate in a separating funnel; occasionally separate the aqueous portion of the distillate and return it to the flask. When all the volatile matter has been distilled, remove the aqueous portion of the distillate and measure the volume of the oily liquid.
